The Future Starts Here: Apply for the 2027 IPPE Young Leaders Under 30 Award

Applications are now open for the 15th annual International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) Young Leaders Under 30 Award, a program designed to recognize the next generation of industry leaders by providing them with opportunities to build connections, expand their knowledge and experience the industry’s latest innovations.

Sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), Meat Institute and U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY), the Young Leaders Under 30 Award recognizes outstanding professionals between the ages of 21 and 29 who are already making their mark on the industry. Selected recipients will be recognized at the 2027 IPPE and gain access to valuable educational, networking and professional development opportunities.

Eligible applicants must be employed by a company involved in poultry or meat production or processing, or animal food manufacturing, and their company must be a member of the AFIA, Meat Institute or USPOULTRY. Through the program, recipients have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore cutting-edge technologies and solutions, and gain greater exposure to the people and ideas shaping the future of their industries.

Interested applicants must submit their applications by Monday, Sept. 28. Each member organization may nominate up to two candidates. A panel of industry professionals will review the applications and award recipients will be notified by Monday, Oct. 5. For more information and to apply, visit ippexpo.org or click here.

Selected recipients will receive complimentary registration to the 2027 IPPE, two nights of IPPE-provided hotel accommodations and access to all non-fee-based educational programs. Honorees will also take part in exclusive experiences designed to expand their industry knowledge and connections, including a VIP tour of the trade show floor and breakfast with a keynote speaker. Each recipient will be recognized as an IPPE Young Leader with a commemorative plaque presented in the Discovery Zone on the Expo floor and will receive complimentary registration to the 2028 IPPE.

Attendee registration and general housing for the 2027 IPPE will open on Oct. 5. Visit the IPPE website for more information.
